The Red Deer River is Alberta's favorite whitewater run. The river finds it's source close to the Lake Louise ski area. Flowing out of the mountains, the river passed by our base just west Mountain Aire Lodge and tumbles its way east through the town of Sundre and out into the prairies. The Upper Red Deer offers a stretch of whitewater adventure that people come from all over Alberta to enjoy. Our two trip offerings are available June through September.

Whitewater Raft Day Trip Packages: Wet'n Wild: From our base just west of Mountain Aire Lodge we embark for 3 hours and 23km of exciting class 2/3 whitewater adventure with continuous waves and thrilling drops like Big Rock, Gooseberry Ledge, Jimbo's Staircase and the Nationals. The trip finishes at the Cache Hill takeout. Group Rate:

Departing Cache Hill this class 2 run cruises along for 15KM. This trip save the best for last as we drop over the "Double Ledge" and ride the waves of the "Mad Mile". The trip finishes at the Cartier Creek campground. Group Rate:

Transportation: Unless arranged prior to the trip each group is responsible for their own transportation to our base. Prior to the trip leaving, drivers will drop their vehicles at the take out and then be shuttled back to the base by someone from their group.
